How we protect your medical confidentiality and personal data
1. Psychiatric Confidentiality & Data Protection
As licensed Swiss psychotherapists and healthcare providers, we are legally bound by strict medical confidentiality (Berufsgeheimnis according to Art. 321 StGB and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection nDSG). Your personal records, session notes, and diagnostic data are treated with complete secrecy and stored on encrypted Swiss servers.
2. Collection of Personal Data
We collect personal data (such as name, contact information, date of birth, health insurance details, and medical history) strictly for the purpose of providing psychiatric assessment, psychotherapy, and mandatory health insurance billing (OKP / Grundversicherung).
3. Online Tele-Therapy Video Consultations
Video consultation sessions are conducted using end-to-end encrypted video technology compliant with Swiss eHealth security standards. Video streams are never recorded or stored on any server.
4. Client Portal & Digital Services
Your Client Portal account uses multi-factor security and SSL encryption. Access to patient records is strictly restricted to authorized treating therapists and practice staff.
5. Your Patient Rights
Under Swiss law, you have the right to inspect your medical records, request corrections, or inquire about the storage and processing of your personal data at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer at praxisamroemerhof@hin.ch.
