General terms regarding psychiatric consultations, billing, and care agreements.
1. Scope of Psychiatric & Psychotherapeutic Services
We provide evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy, psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations. All services are performed by physicians certified as specialists in Psychiatry & Psychotherapy (FMH) and members of the SGPP and ZGPP.
2. Billing & Swiss Health Insurance (OKP / Grundversicherung)
Psychotherapy sessions are billed according to Swiss TarMed / PsyTariff healthcare tariffs. Under the Swiss *Anordnungsmodell*, costs are covered by compulsory basic health insurance when a medical doctor's referral is submitted prior to the second consultation. Self-pay and supplementary insurance billing are also supported.
3. Tele-Therapy Sessions
Online video consultation appointments are subject to the same clinical standards, confidentiality, and tariff structure as in-person sessions at Praxis am Römerhof.
4. Appointment Cancellations
Scheduled consultations must be canceled at least 24 business hours in advance. Please review our full Cancellation Policy for details.
